My Appeal to the world for Tibet

The Tibetans courageous defiance and non-cooperation to Chinese rule by peaceful protest have now turned violent and spread all over Tibet as the Chinese armed forces have used tear gas, shot guns and other repressive measures to disperse the protestors.

These recent developments in Lhasa and other parts of Tibet are alarming signs of the growing resentment amongst Tibetans of the brutal occupation of Tibet. The Tibetans crave for genuine and lasting freedom, they crave for human liberty, for freedom of religion, speech and above all they crave for Independence for Tibet.

People areound the world are deeply concerned about the safety of Tibetans arrested and those participating in protests inside Tibet.

We appeal to the conscience of the freedom loving people in the International community and their governments to condemn these violent acts and use of brute force and urge the Chinese government to:
* Refrain from using further brute force and repressive measures
* To guarantee the safety of all Tibetans who have been arrested and to restore peace through dialogue by peacefully addressing the Tibetans grievance
* To allow international human rights monitoring inside Tibet
* To allow international media inside Tibet and end the suppression of foreign media

We also call on the International Olympic Agency to boycott Olympics if China continues to use force.
Please call and write to the Chinese consulates in your area and your governments.

Thank You.

I do not believe in good and bad, only in the stronge will win over the weak. And the rise of the asian will rule so you better join in and forget the west will help cause the shift of global power to the east is very real.

To the previous commentator. What an idiot you are. Have you learned nothing! All of your (Chinese) lies, killing, and torture only forges the fires of resistance among the brave people of Tibet. I am not Tibetan, but like the rest of the world, I am watching.
