Remaining silent due to fear of social, political and economic reprisals is a tragedy for the world and the human race. Tibet will not be silent. Tibetans will fight for our righteous aim and struggle for the restoration of independence for Tibet. Fighting occupation, injustice, discrimination, exploitation, oppression, colonization, genocide, ethnic cleansing, environmental destruction, cultural invasion, massive population transfer of Chinese into Tibet...

Pictures from Tenzin Tsundue la's visit to Minnesota
I've been meaning to post this for so long.
More than 200 people gathered in the Tibetan community center to hear from the famous Tibetan activist from India. After the talk, he was the chief guest for the Tibetan Cultural Dance Show. On his way to the restroom during the breaktime of the show, a large number of young Tibetans eagerly waited to speak to him. Due to the interesting questions the young Tibetans asked and the lack of time there to communicate with all of them, RTYC decided on a second day discussion group with Tsundue la. Many of the picture posted are from the second day and two are from the Sunday's talk.

This sounds like an amazing event! I would love to see Tenzin Tsundue talk. I hope we can bring him to Madison soon.
The UW Madison chapter is bringing Tenzin Dickyi, one of the SFT featured speakers, on May 1st. She'll speak the same week that His Holiness will be in Madison. Does your chapter have any more events planned before the semester ends?
